I was born in Toulouse, France, on June 5, 1981. I graduated in electrical engineering from the Grenoble National Polytechnical Institute (INPG), France, in 2004. I received the M.S degree in image and signal processing from the INPG in 2004. From October 2004 to September 2007, I have been pursuing a Ph.D. degree from conjointly the INPG and the University of Iceland. My supervisors were Jocelyn Chanussot and Jon Atli Benediktsson. I was teaching assistant from October 2007 to August 2008 at the Grenoble Institute of Technology (Grenoble INP).

From September 2008 to August 2010, I was a post-doctoral fellow at the MISTIS Team, INRIA, under the supervision of Stéphane Girard and Sylvain Douté. I was working for the ANR VAHINE.

Since September 2011, I am an associate professor with the National Polytechnic Institute of Toulouse (University of Toulouse - INP ENSAT) and I am with the UMR1201 DYNAFOR team of INRA (French National Institute of Agricultural Research). From March 2013 to March 2016, I was president of the French Chapter of the Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society. Since 2015, I am the director of the Engineer and Numerical Science department of ENSAT.
